Daur Ulang Energi Porsche GT3 RS 4.0

Produsen mobil asal Jerman, Porsche AG, akan melengkapi generasi terbaru Porsche 911 dengan teknologi Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS). Berkat teknologi itu, Porsche 911 anyar itu tak hanya irit bahan bakar saja, tetapi juga mampu berakselerasi dalam waktu relatif singkat.

"Teknologi KERS akan menyimpan energi yang terbuang saat pengemudi melakukan pengereman dan mendaur ulang untuk dijadikan sumber tenaga baru," tutur sumber di pabrikan itu seperti dilansir carandsuv.co.nz, Rabu, 18 Mei 2011.

Berkat asupan tenaga baru itu, akselerasi mobil juga semakin cepat tanpa jeda meski pengemudi baru melakukan pengereman. Sebagai gambaran, Porsche menyodorkan contoh Porsche 911 versi standar.

Varian standar itu bertenaga sekitar 261 kW. Namun, berkat teknologi KERS, akselerasi dari keadaan diam ke kecepatan 100 kilometer per jam lebih cepat ketimbang generasi sebelumnya, yaitu 4,7 detik.

Kabar lainnya, seperti yang dilansir autocar.co.uk dan autoguide.com, menyebut Porsche AG akan meluncurkan varian baru di jajaran mobil sport Porsche 911 GT3, yaitu Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 pada Juli mendatang. Varian ini hanya diproduksi 600 unit.

Varian anyar itu mengusung mesin 4.000 cc enam silinder yang mampu menghasilkan tenaga hingga 500 daya kuda pada 8.250 rpm dan torsi 460 Newton meter pada 5.750 rpm. Tenaga dari mesin itu disalurkan ke roda melalui peranti transmisi manual enam tingkat percepatan.

Rencananya, Porsche membanderolnya 128.466 poundsterling atau sekitar Rp 1,84 miliar (kurs 1 poundsterling = Rp 14.307). ARIF ARIANTO

Semar Si Mobil Irit

Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta mengikuti dua kategori yaitu kendaraan Prototipe dan Urban, keduanya menggunakan mesin bensin. Kedua mobil diberi nama Semar! Salah satu, yaitu Semar Urban interiornya sempat dimasuki dan coba diduduki oleh Wakil Presiden Boediono.

 

Semar Prototipe

Data yang dirilis tim tersebut mengatakan kendaraanini dibuat dengan menggunakan sasis dari aluminium dan bodi dari serat kaca (fiber glass). Dimensi: panjang 30 cm, tinggi 70 cm, lebar 110 cm, jarak antar-sumbu roda 160 cmm dan trek 100 cm.

Semar Prototipe adalah kendaraan tiga roda yang juga menggunakan desain tetesan air. Kedua roda roda – roda sepeda motor – terbuka (open wheeler). Diameter roda yang digunakan 14 inci, juga diambil dari sepeda. Dijelaskan, berat kosong mobil (tanpa pengemudi) 50 kg.

Mesin yang digunakan berkapasitas 110 cc, 4-langkah, satu siilinder dengan teknologi pasokan bahan bakar injeksi. Tidak disebutkan asal mesin ini. Kendati demikian, disebutkan mobil ini menggunakan bahan bakar Shell 95.

Untuk memindahkan tenaga dari mesin ke roda, digunakan melalui sproket searah dan kopling sentrifugal seperti yang digunakan pada sepeda motor bebek. Mobil ini ditargetkan konsumsi bahan bakar di atas 280 km/liter.

 

Semar Urban

Sama seperti SemarPrototipe, kategori Urban juga menggunakan sasis aluminium dan bodi dari serat kaca. Dimensi: panjang 250 cm, tinggi 110 cm, lebar 125 cm, jarak antar-sumbu roda roda 137,5 cm dan trek 120 cm. Bobot total kosong kendaraan, 100 kg.

Mobil ini menggunakan ban skutik 14 inci. Sedangkan mesin yang digunakan kapasitasnya lebih kecil dari Semar Prototipe, yaitu mesin 4-langkah, 100 cc dan sistem pasokan bahan bakarnya menggunakan sistem injeksi. Bahan bakar yang digunakan Shell 95 dengan target konsumsi 300 kpl. Sumber
